Another Day....Yet Again!

We have just finished week one and what a week it was! I am starting to get around town a lot easier and my Spanish is progressing. We at a small jury today about our figure ground drawings and it was nice to see all the works in one place and learn about how old cities and new cities compare. PJ and I are working on our collage and I'm excited for how the project will come out, even though we have a lot of work ahead of us before its due. We are introducing a graffiti style with an architectural foreground.

The clubs around here are great compared to the ones back home. Very fancy with no sight of sketchy people :) just nice Spanish chicas. Also, the suite has decided to make a weekly event to see one of the 13 Antonio Gaudi buildings. His style is so crazy and unique, we have recently found out that the Sagrada Familia is going to have a speed train with a hub that goes directly underneath the massive structure. This seems to be a dangerous approach because the foundation is not very strong and could cause a lot of long term damage to it. This would be quite the sham because it isn't even close to being finished, yet it is already in the record books of Spanish architecture by Gaudi.

So I am officially an uncle now and I have seen little baby Bella and wow she is so so so beautiful!!! I am looking forward to seeing my family on Skype soon and also the new member, Isabella Elina Gamber, Born 1-18-2008 at 10:25 PM, Weight of 5 pounds 13 ounces, and 19 1/4 inches long. Well its time to work on some homework and get ready for our 10 day Spain trip coming up in a week! WOW!!!
